My initial post was a little less thought out, and again a joke, the permanent thing and doubling stuff is obviously silly, but I'm now getting onto the subject of new content, and how 2x credits may give people a larger head start, bringing more people in at the start to aquaint them to new content, as well as in the end just having more content in general.

What massive benefit to the site? I don't see how flooding more credits into a system that has a ton has any benefit. I wish I could remember the exact number that are in the system right now because it's ridiculous. As per events I've been running regular events as well as my events team. All of these events offer credit prizes and some have even had participation credit prizes as well. We also do all sorts of things to cater to all different people, it's not as if they're only FFR skill related events. So there are opportunities to gain more credits frequently.

It's been brought up several times. People starting out face a huge mountain to climb when it comes to credits for content as is. It doesn't make sense to end up making the credit issue worse by making the credits x2 and have the people who are up there already and play the most gaining even more credits and making us have to put up more stuff to get them out. Plus as I mentioned the 40 credit cap was lifted so that's already allowing people to gain more in a play than before.

I said in my initial post about the x2 thing that maybe I could see it happening for an event but I mean scarcely. Like maybe once a year because we have tons of events that already put credits out there.

Edit: If people were running user made events as much as they used to be I might be more interested in more credits. But as it's been there's hardly any user tournaments or anything anymore. I remember when you had to wait for approval because there were 10 running already and that was the max allowed at one time.
