Of course not. I just don't play any rpg's and Borderlands is the closest to that. I was just wondering how a game can still be worth playing after all that time.

Having a lot of play time on a RPG honestly boils down to end game content. WoW has raids, PvP, etc, while BL really only has farming oranges. I mean even when you 100% the main and side quests for the DLC's you're still stuck with just farming oranges. Some RPG's have amazing end game content and others are just shitty. It's either that or someone really has nothing better to do with their life and hates themselves.

Yeah, i really wish Gearbox would do a dlc with more raid bosses. BL2 has a fair amount of them, but they are stupidly hard solo and too easy with people who aren't partly brain-dead.

Oh well, constant dlc is the only thing keep borderlands worth while.

I can't say exactly, but I wouldn't put it short of 5k hours. I started playing when it was 7 or eight and it was the most fun game I ever played. then I quit for a year, but I came back and became competitive and also started building maps and I started playing it more than I did when I was young rofl

I have played a total of ~2000 hours on final fantasy x between different saves

the same time can roughly be considered for DDR/ITG, stepmania and transformice.

DotA/DotA 2 Estimated 4000 hours or more.
League of Legends Maybe 1000 hours.
FFR I have no idea, but whatever 20k games played usually equates to.
I spend a lot of time on Sacred Seasons, but fuck that game.
I think that's the top few, BlOps has like 8 days and Resistance 1 and 2 probably had a combined 300 or more.

Smash Bros. A huge number of hours throughout the series but it reached its peak during my time at uni a couple of years ago. I'd play my flatmate pretty much every night, often for 5 hours or more, for 2 full years. At a push I'd say 5000 hours overall.

FFR. The same flatmate introduced me to the game, which I was obsessed with for a couple of years. Definitely a lot of hours spent on that and SM.

No surprise then that I failed my course.

Guitar Hero/Rock Band Series ~1500 hours (have since quit. fuck these games)
Blazblue series: 1000+ hours
Melee/Brawl: ~1000 hours
Dota 2: <1000 hours but close to it probably
Stepmania/FFR: <1000 hours but close to it probably

Other than that every once in a while I get really into some RPGs and play them for 200+ hours but nothing even close to these.

keep in mind steam still counts idle time. Says I've "played" Dota 2 for 1174 hours but I know I actually spent less than 1000 actually playing
