Alright everyone, made a list of people that already had support tokens that will receive a few extra creds for the trouble. Also, FD/TWWW are not transferable, just like vRofl of years past.

In other news, I am making the tokens for the winners/top 8 finishers for this year. Will report back once they are all made and awarded!!

Jmaxx deserved to win and I'm happy for him. I take back nothing I said about Acid, he's a total asshole lol.

he didn't even win, and nothing was really picked up on them throughout the tournament, so it would be beyond ridiculous to just rip a prize out of their hands. Some people are arrogant and cocky, but that isn't grounds for prize demerit imo.

Honestly, I'm not even sure what to think of D2, particularly ReikonKeiri and Acid Dropplet; Reikon got extremely defensive after being called a sandbagger, but all of a sudden tried turning attention to Acid Dropplet.

...it's quite funny how the two people that have been getting called out are 2nd and 3rd. J Maxx played really nicely and wasn't rude to anyone.

Thanks to all you guys, I really liked the tournament, it was my first time, so I am really impressed about myself, I've improved a lot!! its one of the best rhythm games I played after DDR (Dance Dance Revolution). About Acid, yeah I was somewhat angry about his strategy, but that's it, a strategy, it wasn't illegal or something like that, and he played til the end, like me. I was already given up, but tried one last time so I was really surprised about that booflag, It's also the most difficult AAA I did, so the key is never give up and play til the end If I didn't win I really wished Reikon to win. In D6 I wanted AJ to win you deserved it and improved amazingly, to the other winners from each division congrats to all of you, it's really hard to make it to the top 3, no matter the division.

PS: Sorry about my english...I'm trying to dominate it.

Actually sandbagging like an ass is pretty much cheating by the community's standards. Regardless of if there is a rule against it specifically or not. The idea that purposely playing lower than your level to get placed lower being a strategy is actually kind of stupid. You're being an ass hole and ruining the tourney for the others and pretty much mocking the placement staff and the host.

Short hand: Sandbagging is bad, and everyone who does / did it should feel bad.

I'm happy for all the winners for the most part. Congrats to those who actually deserved it.

I'm still sensing a lot of mad from this thread...

Anyways, question. On the tokens page it says that I have received Vertex Beta vRofl, but it's not showing up in my tokens list on my profile and it's not in my in-game songs list. Anyone else have this problem / know what's wrong?

I actually sent a pm to jae about detri being dq'd, and I got this:

"Hiding behind a newer account on an old account when he was placed higher in a previous tourney.

Tourn OP: "Trying to secretly play in a lower division than you should be in by means of alternate accounts, or by any other means is CHEATING."


It took getting enough evidence as there was almost nothing connecting the two accounts and I wanted to be 101% certain before DQ'ing. Moving a player at this stage would mean eliminating players that have already earned their prizes.

Not getting into a discussion about this in the thread, but nmp is your older account. But as recent as last year (and more specifically when FFR returned), you started using a new account. Hiding behind a new account on an older account of worse skill is the exact same thing as hiding behind a new alt while having better stats on an older account.


Side note: 99% of tokens and badges should be dealt out atm, if you cannot see them, clear your cache and reload your browser/engines!!

Couldn't help but notice that I had my profile badge now, but I'm going to sport it in my signature too. I hope this doesn't bother anyone else that was in D6, particularly those who made it top 8 or better. If it does, I'll remove it promptly.
