I don't even look at the screen when I play. I just smash my head on my keyboard until I AAA a song.

i tend to look at the middle of the screen. any other top-tier players look solely at the receptors?

You don't look AT the receptors; you look directly underneath it (but the receptors are within your line of vision). Several other players such as Dossar read right near the receptors as well. You may need to lower your speedmod to accomodate for this type of reading.

If you're looking at the middle of the screen, stop and try this method for a while.

I feel like I am a bit unusual... it seems like most people look down the screen a bit.

My eyes wander from the judgement to the receptors to the raw score to the PA counter to my hands to whatever

I look in the top-middle area of the screen, in between the judgment and the arrow receptors, shifting slightly if the patterns get a bit more dense.

I mainly just sit and look at the judgement. i keep combo off and use legacy too, and play with the music, even if the notes are offsync from the music i can still accommodate.

I just sit and look though. no arrow hitting. i just stare and replay constantly until perfects start appearing...waiting...
