Also don't underestimate Emithith for D4. I don't think he'll finish first, but I've seen him play, and top 6 is within reach. He's as good as Midnight imo other than a few terrifying scores I've seen Middie get.

Yeah, Emithith has some pretty sick scores, I'm surprised he made the d4 cut.

D4: Darkomni, Kirby615, Benguin and Radiantvibe will crush the rest no doubt

D4: Ben has issues with combo scoring, so he's at a lot more of a disadvantage than you think. You also forgot to mention Zakvvv666.

It's going to be a crappy disadvantage for a tourney like this, but I just have to suck it up and deal with it. :/

He's been working hard to rectify that issue, though. Booflag on Melonman's OP...replay is absolutely PAINFUL. Ben could go either way, but I don't expect him to live long in D5 if he ends up there.

Good point, I've actually been working on my comboing ability recently. Although I'm still terrible, I believe I've made significant progress. I've significantly lowered my miss counts on many FGO's and I even have a decent set of FGO FC's now. And please don't remind me of that melonman's, makes me cry everytime ;~;

K so time to go in details:

D6:

1: Sakish: I just lul over his SM speed and accuracy I've seen in score dumps and videos. I dunno how seriously he takes rythm gaming, I dunno how seriously he will take the official, and I dunno how well he will adapt to FFR's timing. He's just a pretty huge wild card imo that obviously has the ability to top the world and I'm willing to take the bet. Also he swed.

2: Samurai7694: Luis was insanely tight with Dossar last tourney in round 8. Getting 2 blackflags on Rave7... He also kept training like mad on SM since then and apparently skillboosted a whole ****lot. Considering the gap between him and Dossar back then couldn't possible have been so large, I'm pretty sure (and a lot of people think just so as well) he will top him.

3: DossarLX ODI: Do I even need to explain why I put him in top 3? He's arguably the best file analyst ever, and his reading/speed are just so mind****ing it feels really stupid to predict a 3rd place to this guy. He's also very solid with every single type of file, being #1 in AAA count.

D5:

1: Coolboyrulez0: Top 5 last time I believe, and now up against a new crowd that isn't really on the same level as last year's (No Choof, especially). He's up there.

2: Rayword45: He currently keeps a super tight rivalry with a D6 player, very very solid FMOs and still in the process of skillboosting. If he doesn't get bumped, I would see him shine again. He also proved he can fight to the end last winter.

3: Gundam-Dude: If this guy transfers his SM skills to FFR, you're all dead.

Will definitely do the other 4 divisions later (except d1 maybe, I dunno their scores.

lol, as long as MephBoss is in D2, he's gonna dominate there.

Ben will **** over D4 if he can fix his cbs.

Dossar is obviously the D6 choice, though Samurai has a tight chance.

The other divisions I'm not too sure about.

I like this actually, Sakish was actually one of the most influential people back in the vibrating age for me (2008) and he's pulled off some ridiculous stuff. He also has amazing concentration and patience (AAAing a 17 min file with a stupid ending etc) so he'd really just have to adapt a little to FFR. Staiain also has the speed, although I don't think he has as much anchor control on longer jacks

Honestly the only main weaknesses I can think of for samurai are vibrating and one hand trilling. FFR files are more about AAAing though so this isn't as big of a problem. Lately though I've seen him making comments to me about SS'ing parts that are giving him trouble, so he has adopted some file analysis approaches too. It'll be very interesting this time.

I did take that into consideration to be honest. But when are vibrating/long trills files released these days? Haven't seen that in a while, except... Whimper wall for vibrating, but won't see this shit in the tournament lmao...

Death Piano has a few one hand trill sections and vibrating at the end, but a piece of shit file like that isn't going to get released again and shouldn't be released lol.

FFR could use some more *minor* vibrating files, taking combo scoring into consideration. Scarhand has some of this but it's very small and the rest is a lot of JS with some 24th streams and one handed minijack transitions. Crowdpleaser is just a disaster.
