That was the part I had the most trouble AAA'ing actually, haha

lol I have no doubt that pattern is a bitch to PA well, I just thought it fit the music very appropriately and was a nice choice in that regard.

I personally love all the round's files (especially Halcyon ;D nice one there bmah). Except maybe D6's.

Only played D4-D6 tonight:

D4: Really tricky. Not too bad overall but I wish the bursts were toned down a little haha.

D5: Feels like Flesvelka and honki's baby. Not bad steps, but I wish fluent patterns were used more to enjoy the overall file.

D6: Very fun! It's really hard to play since I have no stamina and this laptop likes to drain the energy out of you. Good job Dossar.

I couldn't find an un-clipped version of that song, even on xi's muzie page. So yeah, it'll just have to sound like some sort of radio edit.

I have an mp3 for Halcyon that clips much less :P

Hey I know, lets step everything extremely straightforward and boring and add it to the 1500 songs we already have that are just like it.......

Anyways, everyone is entitled to their opinion of course but I think it's pretty unfair to talk like that to people. There are plenty of stepartists I don't enjoy but I don't tell them to go die or stop stepping. (yes someone else said go die earlier)

Honestly I have no problem with Halcyon being in the game, it's absolutely not my style in the climax part and I hate the two jump transitions, but I will freely admit they are technically correct and the file is unique because of it.
SAMBISTA can die in a fire though. The more I play it the more it makes me sad

Haven't played the D3 song yet.

Mostly I'm disappointed because I know bmah can do better- takes a little spine to take that the way I intended, not to be discouraging. Rather, might as well take it as a compliment that people expect such high quality, shows lows of people believe bmah's got a good history of files. You've got to be good in the first place for people to be disappointed when you fall short ~

^ I agree with this lol. I actually have yet to just write about files on how I feel strictly as a player so here goes.

D1 - I love love love this as an easier file. It's just so fun and energetic.
D2 - Derp my own file.
D3 - I really don't see why there's so much hate on this file it actually flows really nicely. I love this file, I shoulda sightread it but derped somewhere and average flagged it lmao.
D4 - Poor bmah getting so much hate for this file, I actually really enjoy it, even though it's combo break bait for me and will probably knock me out of the tourney. Regardless I think it's really fun, I love technical stuff.
D5 - I haven't really played this yet but some of those patterns look pretty mean lol.
D6 - Little bit out of my league still. May try in the AM after some sleep.

I just can't get over how ****ing horrendous the D6 file is to me. It doesn't help that I bleed goods out of my anus because of how irritatingly synced it is.
