I am enjoying MinaciousGrace's previous predictions about Skarner OP coming to fruition.
Skarner best Draft pick in the game right now, along with maybe Xerath/Graves (until they get nerfed) and people like Kog/Morg/Cass?
I guess he must have gotten buffed somewhere along the line; I wasn't really following. Impending nerfs, knowing riot. Get him while it's good. Solo top and destroy all things.Last edited by Reach; 11-18-2011, 10:36 PM.

Haha I completely forgot I made that prediction, but yeah the small tweaks to his mana costs and heal mechanics turned him into probably the strongest top lane sustain
I haven't played him yet with the new masteries but i'd imagine they'd only make him stronger
also his only natural counter akali was just recently nerfed as wellComment

well the akali nerf was more than just necessary.
Remembered good old times , where akali still managed to screw up a whole team with below 10% health.

Truth why I don't play LoL:
FFR = 2-5 mins and can quit at any point.
LoL = 20-60+ minutes and can't quit without a penalty.Comment

RTS skills doesn't really correlate to LoL skill xd
You're managing a bunch of units in strategy games but you only manage 1 (maybe 2) units at a time in LoL. It's not as mechanically demanding but it takes teamwork from the team to perform decently, which you seldom find in solo queue. There's a difference between the people who instant-lock their champions first thing and demand a lane versus the people who adjust their champ to better help team composition to increase their chances to win.
But hey, no one's judging you for playing FFR instead of LoL or vice versa here.We climb up a lot of ladders, and fall down a lot of chutes.Originally posted by Gundam-Dude
