I wouldn't and I was joking. I respect the NDP I'm not not a big believer in socialism although I respect it. I honestly was split between the Conservatives and the NDP because the NDP is far more progressive when it comes to social matters. You shouldn't assume all conservatives are as bad as tea partiers in the states. I would gage the PC party of Canada hardly to the right. They're fairly central (with most things). I hate A LOT of things about the PC party but I hate a lot more about the NDP. You assuming a vote for conservatives is a vote against homosexuality is ridiculous and pretty ignorant. They're not taking away gay rights at all. It's like if I were to assume since you voted NDP you'd vote yes to allow non-english-speaking immigrants into the country (which may or may not be true but it's still a blind assumption).

            AIT 1 POST POLITICAL WARS

If you knew what Stephen Harper has done since he took office, your opinion would be different. I won't go there though since I don't have 30 minutes to waste on preaching conservative bullshit. Harper hardly supports bilingual rights, as it's not in his riding/province's interest. It's only natural. Sort of how Bloc Quebecois only cares about Quebec. I already told you Alberta was the last province to accept gay rights (oh wait they were forced to!) and that their mentality, for the most part of the conservatives, is that of a Texan redneck. He has successfully plummeted Canada's Human Development Index below even the Americans, which sat at 23rd in developed countries a few years ago. Harper does not support middle class families and his tax cuts benefit larger companies that already receive stupid amounts of government funds to "stimulate" the economy. He supports the worst copyright law in the world, and decided it was a good idea to humiliate the country at g20 by saying the environment is too expensive (yes because after tearing the Kyoto protocol apart you also decided that green energy was too much of a gamble to create new jobs). Canada has gone to shit since he took office. Thanks for your vote though.

            ait I'm done.

ps never play mario is missing on any console it's literally shit

I think everyone here mentioned all the good ones... but NEVER play Mario is Missing or Mario's Time Machine.

Seconding Secret of Mana games, Zelda, Mario, and any FF's.
If you can get your hands on a fan translation [*ahem*] of FFV, that's always fun.
Mystic Quest is like "Final Fantasy for Kiddies", so play that for lulz value.

Everybody's already sniped me on good ones.
                And Mortal Kombat II.

I don't think that's a fair judgment for the game. It's not the most epic game in any way, but it is definitely a respectable (albeit easy and simple) RPG. Just know that it won't be an RPG in the style most gamers expect.

Seiken Densetsu 3. It's japanese and you'd have to rom it and patch with a translation but it's well worth it. It's a Secret of Mana/Evermore style with quite a bit of character class customization and good bosses.

And I didnt realize that Rival Schools was on the DC. I always think of that as PSX

                                Silver
                                SoulCalibur
                                Street Fighter Alpha 3
                                Spawn: In the Demon's Hand
                                Toy Commander
The Typing of the Dead (needs keyboard, though)

From there, just pick apart random curiosities. I really love playing WWF Royal Rumble with my friends, but, obviously, mileage would vary on such a game. The same goes with staples such as Chu Chu Rocket, Space Channel 5, Stupid Invaders, Zombie Revenge and a bunch of others. Some people love them, but they certainly aren't for everyone.

As a completely random curiosity, toward the end of the system's life, there was a full puzzle game called SEGA Swirl included in a ton of demo discs for the system. You could probably get someone to give one away to you for free. It's a very simple game, but it's something mildly entertaining to play for one to four players.

Importing is also fruitful in certain areas. There are two full DDR titles available (2nd Mix and Club, which are both sweet uses of Toshiba's DanceMania label and Konami originals respectively) and there are actually four Pop'n Music games available on the DC. If you want to go crazy, Rent-A-Hero No. 1 and Segagaga are really humorous, but to pull in the story, you need to use a guide or know some Japanese. I still like wrestling titles, so picking up Fire Pro D and Giant Gram were really sweet and there are curiosities such as getting Capcom Vs. SNK imported to enjoy the raw game (for instance, the stage outside in the alley had its music replaced in the U.S. version because a rap lyric in the Japanese version drops an F-bomb).

As for Super Nintendo games, I think you have enough input here already, but if you want my thoughts, you can track me down.
