I think there are enough people to run a tournament, but nobody wants to deal with the complains and placement issues that comes with every tournament.
I have offered my help a few times. Pretty sure Nois and Kayla (tournament mods) can help to. Official tournaments doesn't have to be run 100% by one admin, if they need help, I'm pretty sure there are a lot of people willing to help.

If a tournament was run, it would not include the dashboard this time like it did last time. Which means it'd have to be hosted the traditional way, which is quite intensive for a tournament of that many users. I don't think most people would know what they are getting themselves into.Comment

:/ I can see the dashboard not working a really big problem. But that doesn't make it impossible to be run since just until the last time, the tournament have been run the old fashion way. Imo with some help the tournament can be run without much problem, at least the scoring part.

AJ and I would be willing to do it even knowing how much of a pain it can be to run one. We've put the offer up but ultimately it's not up to us. I think most of the user made tourneys are just as good as an official but they don't get the same amount of participants which sucks.

I also think that an official tournament would get more score submissions on time and give incentive for more competition haha - only problem I have with it is that it's an AAA fest

also, it could be maybe a way to mass release stepfiles? just like a couple of the officials, where every round was brand new files. Maybe even a few more tokens too.
