if you log out, you won't be access to your credits... your credits are associated with your account, so you need to be logged in for them to be there. and you need them to be there for the secret songs to show up.

it happened to me before all you have to do is click the little s in the top left corner and search in it for your last song on the secret genre and click it play it then go to your secret section and they came back

I'm not sure if this is related but in the beta every now and then my number of credits will be listed as undefined, then I'm able to access all of the songs in the secret category. Usually if I select a song it won't load properly or at all but just now it happened and I was able to play the last song on the list. The issue almost always happens if i chose 'new song' before the game has loaded my rank.

Nice bump - but I think the solution to your problem is just.. try clearing the cache (of your browser) once and try again. I've never heard of your problem before.. o_o

I've had this problem a few times. I believe it is because you click "new song" faster than FFR loads your results for your old one, and it tries to put in "NaN" credits into your account since it does not have your score, which causes a temporary "infinite credit" glitch. Simply refreshing the page removes the NaN from your credit count.

Thanks for the explanation! It is a simple enough problem for me to deal with, I just wonder if it needs to be fixed to prevent fairly new players, like myself, with only a few thousand credits, from playing songs which only experienced players can usually get to.

Ssssshhhh, don't complain about it. You'll thank me later when you're working on your average rank and you come to Pants or something else that wasn't in the mega-high range until the site came back up, and you have to stare at it for months until you get 50,000 credits. It's not so much "experienced players" as "players who whore the game like there's no tomorrow".

Something really needs to be done about the vbz search function so it doesn't pull up 7 year old threads at the top of the page -.-
