And Plan's right, if you guys posted as much as you do in this thread over on the other one, you wouldn't be overlooked at all.

It's confidence issues. People with lower skills are intimidated by all the big scores by the big pros.

This is why lower skilled people do not post as much in the normal thread.

Why should there be a confidence issue? It wasn't always just top players posting there. There are more lower skilled players than top players, so I don't see a reason why only top players would be posting. If everyone posted scores when they thought "Oh but that FGO AAA will outshine my AAA" or w/e then there would be a ****ton more lower skilled players in that thread. Way more than top players, definitely.

I don't know about you guys. but I just enjoy playing the game. When I get a score I am proud of or a skill token... I just post it here.

It's always nice to get comments on them... but my mission is just to have fun with FFR and not worry about becoming #1. FC a 11+ and hard skill tokens are all the competition I need.

Just have fun.

fmos should be able to be posted here i dont see why not especially when its your first fmo fc. 90.4.0.20 on something like im sick of uprock belongs here with the other weakling scores

The other thread holds the upper circle and they comment back and forth all the time, because they have their skills and years of experience in the community to chat or joke about as well. Amateurs do not have that kind of background, and this kind of thread allows people who are in a similar situation as they are to see the scores and relate to them better.

Because if I were to post me AAA'ing Elements in the normal score threads, I would get laughed at and then I would feel like crap.

You wouldn't get laughed at, but your score would get blatantly ignored for the following reasons:
1. If everyone posts their scores in the FFR Scores thread, the traffic would be enormous and people would feel less inclined to notice/comment on AAAing anything under an 11.
2. It would get blatantly ignored anyway because regulars in that thread don't care about 9-s.

It's confidence issues. People with lower skills are intimidated by all the big scores by the big pros. If there were more lower skilled people posting their scores in the normal thread at a reasonable rate, then:
1. This thread would be obsolete
2. People with a lower skill would be more confident to post their scores in the normal thread.

Unfortunately, this will never happen because of reason 1 I posted above. It wouldn't be a big happy family, it would be a 5 page per hour scorefest of nobody cares. Nobody gets attention, nobody is happy. The way it is now is good, there's 2 threads and people are getting noticed within their group in the FFR Scores thread and people posting here are getting attention here. No harm, no foul.

So something like, I don't know, this:

a) Is it something I should be proud of, and b) Do you think it belongs in the normal scores thread?

Decent score on a 10, goes in the FFR Scores thread.

You're probably wondering "why not? It's open to everyone". Yeah okay, after all the scores to the last page has been VCs and FMOs they're gonna feel stupid for even thinking that their score was good and this obviously will result in them not posting.

I was hoping this thread would be a safe place for those who felt like they didn't belong in the FFR Scores thread. This is why I didn't mind the rules being repeated so many times, because the VCS and whatnot would probably scare them (again) away and then they feel stuck.

Anything from a level 1 song to level 9 is welcomed here. That's a huge range. I hope to see more of them, that's all.

I hadn't played this since ichliebekase's tournament and when it came on random, I was surprised how much easier it was for me to read.


Another one with the random button that I surprised myself with:


Two of the goods were completely BS from me not paying attention by the end of the song.

Well, public AAA #170. I have 194 total right now. But thank you. Most of the lower songs are a pain for me to play just because they're slow. I have better PA on some 8's than I do on 7's.
