-A soccer hooligan and plays soccer (preferably)
-Does any type of sport; athletic
-Good Dancer (salsa, samba, merengue, etc)
-Open-minded about: food, culture, music
-Book smart
-Can carry out a conversation about anything
-Reads a lot!
-Plays FIFA and PES and other videogames
-Can speak another language, besides English
-Handsome and has personal hygiene
-Smells good and doesn't bath himself in cologne that's too strong
-Great sense of style
-Doesn't plaster his hair with gel
-Creative: art, music, etc

My bf has long hair. I wish he'd take better care of it... or himself in general. He showers like every other day or every 3 days. He doesn't smell bad at all... just his hair does and it looks gross by the time he goes to take a shower.

Me and his mom have been trying to convince him to cut it but he won't hear any of it. Probably cause his hair looked ****ing hilarious short... saw some pics of him when he was 13-14 with short hair.. rofl. He likes to blow dry and straighten it after he showers so I guess it makes sense that he wouldn't want to do that every single day. He also doesn't like air-drying it, which I don't understand. I do it all the time and my hair turns out fine.. unless there's a ****load of humidity in the air that day.

What a pain..

I wash/shampoo my hair every day even though I know I shouldn't, but I can't stand it when it gets oily. I don't know how your bf tolerates that.

There ain't nothin' wrong with a gold old fashioned air dry. That's what I've been doing all my life. I dry my hair with a towel (scrub it actually, take that Chrissi!), then comb it all backwards to straighten it out and just let it dry out. In moister climates, it takes about an hour to fully dry, and in dry climates, about 30 minutes. Not too bad, imo.

Yeah that's what I do... if my hair is shorter. My hair is longer now so I do all that and then put it up in a bun. Take forever to dry but idc. I can't stand having hair like that either rofl. Oh and to top of his hair problem, I just found out he also has dandruff. He's like "oh I've always had that"... "well no ****, it's cause you never wash your hair".

I'm sure most people in this thread would be ok with less then what they described. It's natural to want things you can't have though.

I don't feel as though this holds true for me, I don't compromise well. If the person is anything less than what I want, then I don't really want them as much more than a friend.
I'm too picky. Not that that's a bad thing, I just know what I want, and know I can get it.

That, or people see what isn't completely there. What is that phrase? "Love is blind?" Now, while I don't fully believe that, I can see how that could smooth out some of those sharper high-standards. You see some of the things that you like seeing, and the glaring errors that you don't like, but minor things get glossed over, even if there are many minor errors. (Or at least it seems that way.)
