Yeah, because -that's- what I was saying at all. My whole point was that I, personally, subjectively, woudln't want that kind of potential pressure on me, not that engineering as a field should be stopped completely. Ad Absurdam much?

Also, how are you planning on making 60 grand a year being a librarian. No one goes to the library anymore. Maybe if you somehow got a job working in a government library.

Academic libraries, my friend. Every college and university in the world has one, as do many cities distinct from their school.
