QED--I'm going to be honest with you. Your chart style is simply old fashioned (as mentioned by Lain, fundamentally flawed even in '02), and your charts really do not make that much sense. Hell--I'm not even a big KB stepartist now and honestly (no offense to you because for some strange reason you defend your files with your life), I think I could make a KB chart that people would approve of more than you. (p.s. don't get me started with pad, you will not win).

It's not because the community is biased against you, but more so because the community has evolved into its own stepping style. There's simply nothing you can do about it, because like Kommisar mentioned, FFR sports more than 80% of the main stepmania related communities. You want a citation? Look for it yourself. Stepmania has it's own group of established players and a very large chunk of them hang around in FFR's very own SM scores thread. If that's not enough of a citation for you, then you are just choosing to be stubborn because you can't properly defend yourself (as if you were able to in the first place).
Whoa whoa whoa - I never said the community was biased against me - as you said, the community has "evolved" *cough* *snicker* into its own stepping style and they're sticking to it. The huge misunderstanding people here have is that I actually care about "approval" of "established simfile artists." Please don't peg me as an insecure person who goes around desperate for the approval of others, especially a self-proclaimed "elite" group who is too stubborn to even consider the possibility that there is no one correct way to step. Please don't try to trivialize my style as some old-fashioned derivative of ages past either - I'm certain that I put more thought into making my stepfiles than most of this "elite" group.

So no, I'm not defending myself at all. You're quite mistaken. Defense implies that I feel a need to actually convince you that my opinion is correct, when I really gain no utility from doing so. I'm more trying to explain to you why you're wrong, and it's no big deal to me if you don't take the lesson for what its worth (it's a subtle difference, but it's an important one). Furthermore, I just find it hilarious that everyone here enjoys asserting themselves on this thread when all I'm doing is posting files that really have nothing to do with anybody else. I obviously think I'm right and everyone else thinks they're right. Forgive me if I refuse to conform to mob rule, but it's pretty hilarious seeing everyone else attacking me for daring to have (and believe in) an opinion.

So ultimately, I'm through with my phase of "trying to get along with everybody." I realized that being nice just attracts more stupidity, since people on the internet interpret politeness in a person who actually has an opinion (a different opinion) as weakness and just target that person more. Of course, not being nice and actually telling it like it is will be interpreted as arrogant and attract the same type of response, but at least I get a hell of a lot more entertainment this way.

If you want to continue to entertain me, please do your worst. I still suggest that you just leave this thread alone since there's really no point in you saying anything here, but either way, go for it with all you've got. I'll be waiting.
