I either dislocated or broke my left pinky finger on the 7th of this month, on the way back from a family vacation. I was running past the back of our car and hit my hand on the taillight. I looked at my finger and it was bent outward, so I instinctively pushed it back to where it was "supposed" to be, while shocked and vaguely aware that I was in pain. But it was significantly less pain than the last time I'd broken a finger, so my parents thought nothing of it.
Two and a half weeks later, that finger still experiences minor pain, is bent at the first knuckle instead of straight, and the first knuckle and second knuckle aren't "facing" the same direction. Additionally, when I make a fist, my finger faces outward. I'd asked my parents to call the doctor when this first happened, but they didn't. Now I'm scared I'm going to have a deformed finger the rest of my life ;_; |
