The game was available for public play at last month's "E for All" expo. "Pro" Smash players went to it and confirmed that wavedashing is no longer possible.

It's good, but we've already discussed that, so I'm not going to dwell.

That being said, I wonder if they will do a special "Christmas Day" informative release. We've had dull updates (for the most part) over the last couple of days. I wouldn't say the movie was anything new really, a couple cool other perspective shots is all.

Japan is a largely Buddhist and Shinto country, and there aren't very many Christians. In fact, about 250 years ago, Christians were the subject of much persecution in the country. I highly doubt Sakurai will have prepared a special update for Christmas, because of that.

Nate Bihldorff (or however you spell his name), the American translator, may make a note of it in the update on the American site, but I don't think the update itself will be anything special due to the holiday.

Holy ****, dudes. Did you guys listen to that Angel Island Zone music? Holy ****, that was the bomb. The music in this game will be awesome. That was my one complaint about Melee, I didn't find the music to be that great.

Thanks for the history lesson I suppose. Things tend to be a bit more liberal now than times of the past which is why I bothered letting the thought cross my mind.

Besides, it was something else for us to look forward to just in case is all.

She was in the first and second one. The only reason she hasn't been announced is because you have to unlock her again.

Go to http://www.smashbros.com and then go to characters. The veterans and newcomers are already available as playable characters. So no, Snake is already available.
