Guido, with your words, its next to impossible to solve them without an anagrammer. Most of the words you post are at about a lvl 45 vocab level when the average person is at around level 23.

One: they're challenging. Another reason gabgabo was banned was because he clearly didn't care about the game when he offered "pimsp" to be "unscrambled".

Two: I usually do that when I'm trying to catch people using anagrammers. I purposefully chose words that I didn't expect people to get a few times.

My last word "lycanthropic" was chosen because typically "ly" is attached to the end of a word to make an adverb; I wanted to throw people who were actually trying at this game for a loop. Challenges are fun.

Anagrammers are allowed; note how I ban people from this game for "abuse of anagrammers". If a word is so challenging that nobody gets it after a good deal of time, by all means, just solve the word and move on. gabgabo was solving words within minutes or hours of the word's posting. That is NOT giving everyone a chance to actually attempt the word; that's cheating to make yourself look smarter, and it has no place here.

Notice how I used an anagrammer on this very page. The act is very clearly condoned. Also notice, however, that I waited over two days since the posting of the word to resort to anagrammers. How long did rzr wait? Sixteen hours, most of which was spent overnight. That is HARDLY giving everyone a chance.

There ARE people out there who take this game seriously, can use knowledge of word formations to solve longer words, and actually appreciate a challenge. I will NOT pander to those who don't have an ounce of respect or self-control.

Don't know it? Don't post. Thirty-six to forty-eight hours and nobody's gotten it? Go ahead.

I respect you and everything and I know I'm banned from this but I wasn't cheating make myself look smarter, I was cheating to post some more. You might have seen I post a lot in the forums and that is the reason I used anagrammers. If this hread stays without answers for more then 2 days, I find it boring. So I post a lot and I like it.
