MGS wasn't a game that I liked to play much but the third was a keeper. Although I doubt old man Snake is going to do well if he gets in. Sora/Riku would be too complex to add. They would have to take away all of the cool stuff that everyone liked about their techniques. Final Fantasy I really doubt would be any good. As much as i want ALL of them to be in this game, I just don't think it will happen. Seriously, everyone wants a seven-foot sword, a giant key, or a huge pack of C4. Even I do. But this will be something that would have to be done on a future game.

I doubt it will ever happen, but there's plenty of great characters. Cloud would be interesting, except that he'd be link without bombs or arrows. Vincent would pwn, like using a smash ball to turn into Chaos and own everyone. Someone like Edgar or Sabin from ff6 would be amazing what with Edgar's tools and Sabin's blitzes.

Although most of all I'd love to see Geno from Super Mario RPG. Moves like:
Regular Smash move: Geno Whirl - held to boost power, full power = 9999 dmg
Down Smash: Geno Blast - kind of like pikachu's down smash, beams of light descend on and around geno and damage opponents that get blasted
Up Smash: Geno Boost - like fox's up smash move (yes I know that's not what geno boost did in smrpg, but i couldn't resist)
Super Smash: Geno Flash - just like in smrpg, turns into a cannon, fires a small light that expands into a ginormous sun that pwns everyone.

That would rule...

I think, and this is my honest opinion on the issue, they should add a faceless guy named Protagonist or Hero or something. He'd have huge hair and a giant sword. And while they're at it they could make him purposely REALLY BAD.

Ya know, cuz jokes between game companies are fun.

But seriously, I don't see why anybody would be that against having more characters. The only downside is more chances that the game is unbalanced or that it might take a lil longer to develop. But I mean, look at Mortal Kombat (especially that one edition of MK3). They have like 5000 characters and keep adding more. If you don't like the new characters, oh well, just play as the classics. As long as they don't like, kick Mario out of the game to make room for Cloud, there's no real reason to be against having more characters.

PS: They should add a secret cow level, too.

I heard the might put Issac and Felix in for a kind of replication of the 2 other swordsmen.
Roy and Marth.
I hope they do cuz Felix was SICKKKK

I believe SSBB Snake will be based of off MGS/MGS2

also will have Shadow Moses as a level...sweeeeeeet

that was one hell of a game i liked it alot.. hopefull the do use the two characters.. they are pretty cool..

Yeah, characters from a 2-game low-selling franchise are going to replace characters from a ten-game high-selling franchise. Totally makes sense.

In case you didn't notice, only popular characters get to be playable. If Golden Sun characters were to be in this game, they'd be stickers.

what about mister game and watch? marth and roy? or in this case Ike (and half of lyn). many people didn't know who were this characters until they were introduced in melee (or brawl for the last ones) however a golden sun character would only appear as a assistant trophy
