I send to crouch in my chair.
I sing along to songs.
I dance sometimes.
I click the mouse like crazy on the game while it's loading.
Finally, I find myself tilting my keyboard from time to time.

I do a little drum roll with the arrow keys in Stepmania (in FFR it gives you Boos, meh)

Some of the things I herd in this thread are wierding me out a bit but i can relate to a fue.
-I crouch in my chair
-bite my lip
-twich my legs
Things like that.

Edit: And..I scwint my eyes and/or grind my teeth when I'm about to fail or not fail.

I actually don't really have any habits that I can think off.

Though, sometimes on hard songs when there's a break in the steps I start to zone out, and then the steps get hard again and catch me off guard.

I have a thing for my mouse. Cause I always click it before a song start.

I do this too to make sure that I haven't clicked outside the game, and therefore it would screw me up. I also stick my pinkies up and make them stiff, and last I tilt the keyboard about 30 degrees to the left.


Edit: Also, when I miss an arrow I pretend it doesn't bother me. But really I am ****ing pissed.

I tap my right index finger to the beat of songs when there is an empty space in the song. Always right above the up and right arrow key, too. Helps me keep timing.

Sometimes I get really bored with a song and just start randomly hitting the keys.
And then I fail the song.
And go WTF?

Right before a song I HAVE to pop my middle fingers or else they'll get all stiff and they'll screw me up.

Also, I play on a laptop and I have to have my right pinkie (sense it is on the right side and the keyboard cuts off)..I have to have a piece of double-sided tape right were my pinkie lies so that it stays there. Like i said i play on a laptop and my pinkie would just get in the way lol.

Sometimes(a lot) I have trouble doing well, when my gf is under the table and tries to distract me. Thank god I am getting used to it.

Other than that, my left hands ring and pinky tend to curl in ward and the opposite for right hand.

I squeeze my hands into fists sometimes and squeeze down really hard, inbetween streams or just whenever I can.

Also, what's really weird is like... I tend to want to squeeze the meat part of my thumb against it's fingernail. I can't explain it. But I do it inbetween songs when I'm nevious, and it messes me up.

Also I tilt my keyboards like others do.

And on some really upbeat happy songs I'll bob my head in the direction of the arrows I'm hitting. Bob it left, forward, back, and to the right depending on the arrows u__u;

I have the best habit ever. Oddly enough, I start licking my lips really bad when I play a hard song.

I've also considered using duct tape to keep my keyboard from moving around, because I play one-handed and playing with the arrow keys is hard on difficult songs. I've tried holding it down with my other arm, but I end up hitting other keys and can't play. Rofl.
