Why do people like Catfish?

I know it seems that way, but Grandia, some days are just worse for him than others and obviously he's feeling like crap more than usual today. I mean, really, there's no need to give him a hard time by joking around and stuff, and to be honest, you shouldn't do that anyway.

But oh well, I guess it can't be helped. However, I find it rather dumb to just not talk and figure out things instead of holding grudges and just letting those hateful feelings build up even more. :/
