Marvelous timing has nothing to do with the timing for perfects and greats. I don't see how it could be considered "cheap", the only thing marvelous timing does is make your score LOWER because you have to AAAA to get max score.

i've seen foobi fc with insanely low greats at circuit circus. I was going to say sdg but I don't think it was but it was low like less than 20 i think.

you get a lower score with marvs ON, not off. and that's because AAAA is max score in that case.
