It's pretty long. Though it is possible, it isn't probable.

So here's my 2-hour each game breakdown.
1) Wii Sports - Probably one of the greatest games I've ever played, single or multi player. Tennis works fairly well, Baseball is pretty accurate, Bowling is perfect, Golf is somewhat annoying, and Boxing is tiring. All of them are fun multiplayer and I never have the urge to play with wrist motion only. 2) Super Monkey Ball - Single Player game is beyond all of my expectations. It's just amazing. The jump feature was implemented very well and seems to be an integral part of the game now. My beef is with the multiplayer games that can be annoying at times. Some are great and some are terrible. That's what you get when you put in 50 minigames. 3) Red Steel - Controls refuse to work the way I would like. I like the Time Crisis-ish gameplay, but aside from that, it's just falling short of what I hoped it would be. Unlike Zelda, you have to keep the pointer on the screen at all times. You have no other choice. That's VERY hard to do even with a steady hand rested on a knee. Haven't tried multiplayer, but I've heard they're really fun despite the difficult movement. 4) Zelda - Perfect and absolutely amazing. I'm about six hours into the game and I cannot stop playing. It's just awesome. I kinda want to trade in Red Steel for Trauma Center. I played it at my friend's house and despite the fact that it's also a pointer game like Red Steel, it's really precise and accurate. I'll have to see if Target will let me. |

Just to add to what Squeek said:
X-Play gave Red Steel 3 out of 5, deducting for wonky controls and stupid AI. X-Play gave The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess a 5 out of 5 for being awesome. Start posting those codes! EDIT: WTF I missed the thread. EDIT 2: I'm about to go ahead and buy Bonk's Adventure. I keep hearing good things about it, and it's only 6 bucks, so hell, why not?

I played Wii Tennis last night. I owned. Then I played against myself. I owned and lost at the same damn time.

The only thing I want to know now is about the VC downloads. any drawbacks? how much space do they take? how long does it take? ect... |

I downloaded Bonk's Adventure, and it's only 25 blocks, although the download menu said 90-something. And it took about 30 seconds.

Twilight Princess is amazing.
I'm about 20 hours into it, and I can't put it down. I'm glad I watched that timeline thing though, helped a lot. My location in the game, which could be interpretted as a spoiler is below in white: Gerudo Desert is where I am. |

I'm gonna go back to Target sometime this weekend and see if I can return Red Steel for something else. If not, meh. I only paid $30 for it (if you use the $20 gift card on that).
But tomorrow is GameStop day. Black Friday sales mean Gamecube games for very little cost. Whoo. |

All of you suck tremendous dick.
There are already around 30 assholes outside of Best Buy, 11 hours before opening. A few years ago I'd get there at 2 am and be top 5 in line, while the ones in front of me had just gotten there. |

~2200. Twilight Princess is so much fun. I'd claim the reason I've played so long and am nowhere in the game is that I'm taking my time and trying to find everything, but I'd be lying. Well, I am trying to find everything, but that's not why it's taken me so long to get this far. Once I get stuck, I'm bad at getting unstuck. I'm doing fine right now, but I probably spent three full hours looking for something really obvious. I played Red Steel multiplayer at a friend's house. It really only took me maybe 10 minutes to figure out just what to do and stop getting my ass kicked. Locking on doesn't really lock on like I figured it would. It's pretty misleading, but not a problem as long as you give the game a chance for at least a little while. I didn't think the controls were bad otherwise, and my arm didn't get tired at all. My only real complaint about multiplayer is that the graphics are pretty bad. The other people look like they're from Goldeneye. Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz is incredibly awesome. Single player is more fun than it was on GC. I thought the ability to jump would cheapen the game, but it really just adds a whole new dimension. On the downside, the bosses are pretty lame. The party games are fun. I didn't think a whole lot of the ones I played have a lot of replayability, but everything is a blast at least the first time around. Red Light, Green Light gets really tiring after a few straight games, but that's not a bad thing. ++ for hilarity factor. Monkey Target has received a serious downgrade, though. I haven't played Trauma Center: Second Opinion yet, but I'll see if GameStop or Target (10% discount) has a copy. I watched my friend play it, and it looks really fun. Those seem like the five games everyone is talking about. The only other launch game I'd really consider buying is Downhill Jam. I'm a sucker for Tony Hawk games. |

So apparently Gamestop did have some Wiis today. They never told me that they would during all this week when I've been calling. Thus I didn't wait outside of Gamestop not knowing if they would or not. I showed up there an hour before opening and asked the people in line, and apparently the front few were getting it. Gay.
But right before that, I stopped in at Meijer and picked up Super Monkey Ball and DBZ. I had zero interest in the DBZ game until the IGN review and was like woah that sounds hot. Meijer's sale was buy one, get one 50% half off. All games and as many as you wanted. I called last night and asked which games were available and only SMB and DBZ interested me (no LoZ there). $79.48 total after taxes. My 10% off card doesn't work there anymore. ;____; |

Also, last Sunday a mall over here was having an event where, if you had a ticket, you could enter the mall (although THEY DIDN'T REALLY CHECK TO SEE IF YOU HAD A TICKET SO YOU DIDN'T NEED TO BUY IT REALLY) and the stores were having discounts. At Gamestop they had a "buy two get one free" sale for used games. I bought Viewtiful Joe, Pikmin, and F-Zero GX. I was going to go try the Wii at the stand but there was no controller. I was really disappointed =( One of my friends failed at obtaining a Wii this morning at Gamestop (doesn't matter too much, anyway, his mom probably wouldn't let me in the house XD). Hopefully my other friend who planned on getting it got it so I can raid his house and touch that beautiful controller for the first time.

Nintendo claims Wii has a 512MB internal memory. Either they're lying, or the Wii software and updates takes a massive toll on memory space. My Wii currently has 2132 free blocks, whereas my inserted SD Card has 3840 blocks. Both have my game saves and the Bonk's Adventure channel on them.

I'd also like to mention that my Wii is smaller than my TEXTBOOKS.
It doesn't take very much effort to move around. The PS3 however... ~Tsugomaru |
