Best finger position

I didnt know what to actually call it but i hear people play index or things like that. Basically I've been playing FFR for a little while and the whole time ive been plalying with my right hand, index finger, middle finger, ring finger and just those 3 fingers on all 4 arrow keys. I have experimented wiht other ways but the way I do it seems the most natural. I am ranked overall in the 3000s and i have been improving greatly but some people tell me i will never be able to do the really really hard songs the way that i play. I am just curious if there are any people that play the same way as me and can do the masters only and gurus only songs. Should i do what doesnt feel natural to me and possibly get better or just stick with the way i play. This is important.....sort of.
