Childrens Getting Shorter

Is it just me, or is the new generation of children geting shorter and shorter?

I was walking through the senior hallway, and could've sworn that I was in the sophmore hallway. Most of the seniors look to be around 5'7". Not only that, but there are a bunch of people who are even smaller

Black Guy, Senior: 5' 4" (I'm guessing he's that height)
Asian Guy, Senior: 5' 4" (I know him, so yeah, that's his actual height)
Hispanic Girl, Senior: 5' 2" (looks to be around that height, she doesn't seem taller than me)
Black Girl, Senior: 5' (looks to be around that height)
Hispanic Girl, Senior: 4' 10" O.O (also looks to be around that height)

So yeah, is my school just filled with a bunch of vertically impaired seniors, or are other people noticing a trend
