If I, a male, were to say that I hate feminists, would I only be furthering their cause?
Of course, that isn't the case at all, but it creates an interesting question. One reason I've heard for disliking feminists is that they always turn things that men say around to an extreme. Thus, if a man says that he dislikes feminists for exactly that reason, the feminist could then turn that around on him saying that he was discriminatory and prejudiced, as well as stereotyping. Of course, this is assuming that that particular feminist fit the prementioned description. What I'm really getting at is, is it possible for a man to dislike feminists without coming off looking like the bad guy? |
