Default Friendship

What makes a good, solid friendship, how are they formed, and what do you think are important circumstances of the realtionship? Do you believe friendship is mutual? How so? I believe that a friendship is mutual and I think that all friendships must endure hardships. I think that friends support each other in times of need and actually care about your ideas and your personality. What do you think?

PS: Sorry if this isn't CT material. Mods can move this topic if it is too kiddish. I only posted it here because I want serious answers. Thanks.
