Yes, I think they should. Right now, the characters are pretty underused. I think the characters should be changed to model after forum users.

I'm talking about people who have made a name for themselves, established them well in the community, and have been here a while. Of course they would have to have pictures and stuff to show the artist to model themselves after their real selves (it would be lame if they modeled them after an imaginary person or something).
