phil, i understand what you're saying. but i think you're trying to analyze this based on the assumption that the wolves have the same understanding of the mechanics and rules and priorities and what have you that you do. chances are they misunderstood something or didn't think it through and so their actions only make sense according to a schema that's different from our own
