Ok, what version are you using?
And, how are you selecting songs? (Mouse or kb)
Do you have any way to consistently reproduce this?
Are you reloading songs from options->reload? Try not to do this, iirc it was mentioned in release notes to not do this. Try to do ctrl+shift+q on the select music screen.
Also, I'd recommend you delete the /Cache/ folder (It's possible the problem is there), and also that every time you make a change to a song/chart you do ctrl+shift+r before starting it (That hotkey reloads the currently selected song).
