I think what DBP said at the beginning of the game about finding wolves over towns is starting to be true here.

I think being suspicious of everyone and trying to find that first wolf is more important than attempting to find town reads because there's a risk associated to town reading someone that you're not sure if they're really town.

You can like soft-town read someone if it can help you find wolves, but you shouldn't really town read them if that makes sense.

tl;dr just do whatever that helps you the most find wolves duh.
