Seriously, man, it was probably the biggest reform in the history of Catholicism. Catholics today are typically pretty liberal, and John Paul II did wonders in "updating" us. Of course, the Church is never going to do anything to change our core principles, like support abortion or anything like that, but I would hardly consider us out of touch or outdated. It makes me sick that people knock Catholicism because of what it did waaaaaaay, way back when. Does it matter?
