Default Variable BPM Analyzer

Hello there.

If I'm not mistaken, MixMeister BPM Analyzer only calculates average BPM, thus rendering it useless for many songs. How do you stepfile writers accurately step your songs with variable BPMs? I'm currently working on SGX's "Kick your A," and from my own tweaking it changes BPMS very often and usually only a couple (e.g. 186 vs 188). Any suggestions as to getting accurate stepping?

I thought of a solution that should have worked but didn't: taking the songs apart into smaller files and analyzing those (because I can figure out BPM changes with my ear). However, with my editing program (Screenblast SoundForge) the mp3s change speed (goddamnit!) when you edit them and cut them into pieces. For example, the BPMs went from 93 to 93.26, which is too off to help.

Please tell me how you get your stepfiles so on the beat
