Default Literature/Creative Writing Forum

Personally, I'd like to see a forum addition along the lines of a Literature or Creative Writing forum... Considering how much I write, and how much I'm sure other people write, I think it would be a welcome addition to the forums. It would a be a place for people to post creative writing, literary criticism or thoughts on literature. The creative writing would get peer input to help shape the way of the writing, while literary critiscm and thoughts on literature can go on and on. I for one am finding more and more symbolism as I read.

It could also be a place for the discussion of the performing arts... Stage, in particular. There is already a media forum, but the discussion of plays by thespians in non-existant. I figure most of the people in CT could help shape the Literature/Creative Writing forum, considering how knowledgable most of you are in the area of science and math. It could be a good opportunity to branch out and see what the literary side of life has to offer, as far as contemporary novels, plays, musicals and original works of fiction and nonfiction go.

Just a thought. Probably not going to get a lot of steam, but I thought I'd make the sugguestion.

Mal

PS: I also think it might be a good place to pick apart and discuss song lyrics and the meaning behind them. Maybe I'm just a literature geek, or maybe I'm just tired, but I have no way to finish this sentence.

"Readers who prefer tension and romance, Maledictions: The Offering, delivers... As serious YA fiction, I’ll give it five stars out of five. As a novel? Four and a half." - Liz Ellor

My new novel:

Maledictions: The Offering.

Now in Paperback!
