Hello! First of all, i wanted to say R^3 is truly a beautiful engine. It works very smoothly, it's graphically appealing yet very clean, has a lot of customization options and so on. There are a few little details i noticed, though, which i think could be improved.
The first two suggestions are relatively easy to implement, and i'd love to see them added to the game. I do realize when coding is involved nothing is really quick or easy to do, but these don't look like they are very complicated. The second two are a bit more elaborate. but i wanted to add them anyway. All of them pertain the gameplay aspect, and are designed to give the players a better and more accurate playing experience. #1: Option to remove the bottom block As the arrow points out, the bottom block (where the score is) hides arrows. A simple checkbox to turn it off would be very nice. If score can be turned off too it'd be even better. ![]() #2: Choice of another color scheme for judgements Let's face it, FFR's color scheme is a bit hard to see, judgement colors really don't stand out from one another. ITG one is more readily noticeable even at high speeds, so i mimicked that. Having an option to pick up any color of choice would be even better, but it'd probably be too much effort. Another color scheme would be fine. ![]() #3: Frame-o-meter Simply put, a bar which displays exactly which frame we hit for each arrow. Useful for improving accuracy i guess. ![]() #4: Column Highlight and arrow highlight Every non-AAA judgement would trigger a column highlight, making the player notice where and when they get a good, average, boo or miss. Arrow highlight should be also recolored to the new colors and made more visibile. ![]()
