Heh , the mind can't really be explained. In my opinion, instinct lead to logic because the mind conciously records what to do in a situation, logic lead to thought because the mind decides between choices related to something (could be anything, including logic) and then develops opinions based on the choices, and both instinct and thought lead to emotion because emotions are reactive and subjective. A person doesn't actually "feel" when he/she wants to. The "feeling" is triggered by something. A person can feel happy or sad about a subject depending on his/her opinions. When someone is in a dangerous situation, he/she "feels" fear because the instinct of avoiding danger kicks in.

Of course, after writing all of this I am still unsure of my opinion, so my opinion might change later.
