I don't really understand why they have to be official labels in the first place, it's pretty meaningless. What does arbitrarily deciding that the 91s aren't FSOs accomplish? I find the names to be a nice way to describe general difficulty but I fail to see why they have to be taken so seriously at the thresholds (and I wouldn't miss them if they didn't exist, I'd just be using terms like "70s" and "80s" instead of "FMOs" and "FGOs").
I'd have to say that 1-20 is the better system since it nicely categorizes the songs by difficulty without one single number encompassing a massive difficulty range as 1-13 does... But that's too many difficulty names to keep track of so in the context of difficulty names 1-13 wins. The scarhand/speedvibe tokens should probably match it though, whichever system stays as the official secondary difficulty categorization. I just kind of hope they don't influence the rating of songs on the 1-99 scale, even though the Stinger/etc. talk in this thread seems to indicate it will do exactly that... tl;dr I don't care, it all means nothing.
