Have there been any team tournaments?

I don't mean teams like Pony, Pokemon, and Blaze. I mean like as in doubles; a team of two.
Really, it wouldn't be any different from previous tournaments.
You just ask someone to be your partner, and if they say yes than their could be some sort of sign up sheet where you fill in your name and then your partner's name. Your partner would have to do the same. Your scores for each song would be combined, so it would have to be raw scoring.
So, the only thing that would be different in this tournament than the last tournament is that you depend solely on your partner, so it would be wise to choose someone that wants to win just as bad as you do.

Just throwing this out there; I'm sure someone thought of this, though.
