Getting Back Into Stepmania (bynary sux edition)

Ya. That, and I need a rival. They don't have to play one handed, just be around my skill level. I stopped playing around June 2012 because my rival stopped playing without any word of why, and he was a great motivator while it lasted. Hopefully I can get something like that again.

Furthermore, with the FFR Tournament underway, I'm kind of trying this time. I probably won't make it past round 3 or 4 (if that), but I might as well give it my best shot. This will be somewhat of an ongoing thread - I'm going to continue posting scores here as I get them, at least the ones worth posting anyways. Here are a few bits I got today (some include crappier scores on files I've played many times before). But that's what getting back into SM is all about. I didn't suffer nearly as much a drop in skill as I did when I started playing last year after a long hiatus, so I can probably get back to where I was in a month or two. Scores roughly go from worst to best as you go down.


This is an easy file and I really shouldn't be posting this, but something about these patterns makes my eyes bleed...I've never been able to FC this file (lol) and choking at the end really upset me...


Meh. I've done better on all counts, but the accuracy is nice. I actually had a better score, but I forgot to SS it so this is what I have instead.


Bad cbs - only posting for the ms which is kinda good for me. I had a run with a lot less, but the ms wasn't as high.


Decent. Nailed the hard stuff, kinda blew the others. The patterns in this song are difficult for me to do so this is not bad. Plus the MA is killer for me - it's a whole hell of a lot better than my previous score on this file.


Not bad. I actually did really well on this, but I completely blew it towards the end - I would have had a sick score otherwise (this file is very awkward to play).








holy shit damn this is amazing! Accuracy is so-so but just 1 boo on this is ridiculous for me haha.










okay FUCK THIS FILE idgaf if this is the sloppiest fucking AA ever. Fuck the patterns, fuck the trills, fuck the transitions and fuck the freeze crap. I've AAed this file and that's all I care about.
