Headphone/Headset Suggestions?

So recently my headphones died on me by shocking the insides of my ears. Bottom line: I need a new pair. What would be a good pair? What headphones/headsets are you using right now? Can you give me a few brands so that I can get an idea of what's out there? I am looking for a headphone/headset that might run $100-$150. I am also looking for a pair that will actually last for 1 approx. 1 year. Thank you, you're awesome guys. And Happy Thanksgiving~
