I was taught the "rule" that if you are right handed you are ~supposed~ to wear your watch on your left hand and vice versa. I don't know why that rule exists, but I convinced myself it's like that because if you are carrying something very heavy, it's most likely going to be in your right hand if you are right handed and if you wanted to check the time and you had your watch on your right hand, you'd have to lift your entire arm plus the heavy thing you are carrying just to do that while if the watch was on your left hand, you'd just have to lift up your left arm. Basically, your right hand is more busy than your left so it's more convienent to have your watch on your left if you are right handed.
