Combine that with pattern recognition and density/location of arrows (since the arrow colors won't help you), and you can better mentally prepare what to hit and when.

this somewhat seems to be more beneficial to simfile artists. not saying that it wouldnt help at all, but would greatly benefit simfile artists.
