Fucen owns. Got it today, got home, started playing, I just forced myself to stop, welp.
If you have a 3DS, I strongly urge you to go get this, especially if you're good with any kind of music game. Brief summary: The space between the Chaos and Cosmos (hi dissidia) is called "Rhythm", and it houses a Crystal that gives birth to music. When the forces of Chaos disrupt the balance, the Crystal's power wavers. Cosmos thus sends her warriors to increase a music wave called "Rhythmia" to restore balance and make the Crystal shine again. A bit of a farfetched plot, but that hardly matters since the gameplay and music make up the game (hurr). Think of osu meets technika, in terms of gameplay. I don't feel like explaining it, so here's a vid. Reds are basic taps. Greens are hold notes (if you're playing the field music stage, you also guide your receptor to hit the green dots on the holds). Yellows are slide notes, you slide your stylus in the direction that the arrow is pointing. The silver notes show that you're playing a "feature zone." If you hit them all, you access an extra stage of sorts. There's over 70 songs, along with downloadable content (a 3DS first, woop woop). I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys rhythm games in general, or any hardcore Final Fantasy fans. (ps I'm gonna upload some vids of the ultimate score stages and yay, first SSS rank tonight k pce)
