Crawling My Way Back Up

I've been trying to come back several times since mid-'09, and each time I've had to retire for various reasons, usually due to an injury of some sort. But I never stopped enjoying this game, and I'm really trying to get back to my old skill level when I was doing stuff like this, this and this. My MA has taken an exceptionally big hit, I'm getting twice as many perfects as I used to on most songs I play. But hopefully that will change as I continue to play and return to my old ways. Some scores documenting that process follow:




ugh, I had a 7 cb run (which was awesome) but I hit "scroll lock" instead of "print screen". This isn't too horrible though the MA is shitty. All the cbs came in the first half (I got one in the piano section when I ****ed up the transition to the first 24th trill). The combo is pretty decent.

Damn! This one is arguably closest in terms of what I could do back in mid-'09 in terms of cbs (the MA is bad though, I could manage high 70s back in the day).

This one is filler mostly since it is the worst out of all of these (I have horrible bad habits in the first third of the song ).

This is really good - I'm still not fast enough to do all of the 16th stream stuff but this is still a very solid score, and an excellent speed training file.

Literally ALL the cbs came from exhaustion - this file is very doable otherwise.


Good PA and cbs, bad MA.
