I have a good memory. A really really good memory. It's a day off from classes today so I'm sitting here trying to burn time before hitting the books again, and you know what I just happened to remember about this lovely game called "FFR".
I made this account in 2003 with my friend and we would literally spend nearly all of our free time playing FFR. I'd go over his house on his crappy computer that could barely support the game and cheer him on as he attempted all the ridiculously hard songs in the Classics section. Then when I went home I would practice on my keyboard without actually playing the game because I would have to wait 10+ min for each song to load on my Dial-Up connection. Then next morning at school I'd spend an entire period at computer class marveling at the .25 mb connection as I loaded up each song and impressed my fellow peers before being scolded by the teacher. Yeah good times man. Honestly I'm amazed that I remembered the password to this account. I remember the account name of course because it was one of those usernames you create as a kid that make no sense but you somehow managed to plug in the name of your #1 hero or villain in my case- with some arbitrary word. Thank god there weren't any XxXx's in my name. Hehe, well I just wanted to make a post to reminisce a little bit and to show off my awesome Join Date. To keep this thread productive, did you guys play FFR like a full-blown out nerd when you were little? I still remember when my buddy and I found that easter egg song called "PWNAGE" or w/e it was, by clicking on a little tiny obscure random dot around a corner of the interface (I think it was the top right?). I swear to god my friend and I felt like the only people in the world who had found it haha. |
