Guys, I have been here too long, haha.
Firstly I would like to state what posts mean in my eyes. Posts aren't something you want to have a goal toward. If you set a goal for lets say 1000 posts, you will want to start postwhoring and such to get to 1000. People now look at that person and wonder how stupid this person is. I look to posts as more of a status on the forums. If you look at someone's posts and then look at their join date, you can clearly see almost 90% of the time if the person if a postwhore or a person who really contributes to this community. Now this might be a bit off at times. Some people might be bad posters, but not post often. Well then oh well for trying to figure it out, but good job you tried. I really don't look at my posts as something I have set my mind to, or something that I feel I have accomplished. I feel that my posts are someting that I have achieved by being a great poster and loving the community I am in. I won't take any pride in this achievement though. The only pride I have is that I have been here with many people and gotten to know tons of you well, and that I can make cool posts like this. Come on, count back to every post I have postwhored, I think its like barely 2% of my posts. I hate it when people post just for posts and not for the community and for the people. Secondly I would like to show some gratitude to a few people. These people here I have grown to and are very close friends of mine. I am only naming names and not little bios and summaries after their names because I feel that the person gets enough respect by the name. If I add the bio someone might feel like they didn't get a good enough bio. hydrojakep - Jake lightdarkness - Jay eVILPeeR - Jeff Kamoa_Han_Senzui - Evan HVAM - Karen banditcom - Jason linus - (he didnt want me to say so I won't) Varia - Gilbert psychic25 - Victor And also my newly found friends I have talked to for a while that have supported me through the time they have known me: Almsty - Andy Kumiorava - Samu MarcHorizon - Marc (Liquifaction) Sorry for the people not on this list. Just remember that even though you are not on this list, I still think of you and thank you for being there for me. Thirdly I would like for all of you readers to take a survey for me. Say for example there is FFR one day. So lets say its FFR now and not the time when topics were amazing and the people were great. No spamming and a fun place to be. People weren't leaving. Well at the time now, there isn't many extraordinary topics that appeal to me or some of you, people are spamming, and a lot of people a re leaving and many n00bs are coming in. What would happen if I suddenly told you all I was leaving. Now just to let you know I am not leaving FFR, this is a survey. What would be your reaction. Like, what would you think about FFR without me. Would it be like FFR when everyone leaves, people just go along with their time here and not really caring, or do I have any special vibe to anyone and made them wish I was here. You can be totally serious about this question, It just crossed my mind and was perfect to put in this topic. And lastly, I know FFR has not always been the best palce to go to. There has been fights, R2 n00bs all around, and bad topics. This place has not always been everyone's favorite forum to go to because of this, but just to let you guys know, I am not leaving. I am going all the way until either my internet dies, or FFR dies. Happy three thousand everyone. |
