Multiplayer problems?

Firstly, sorry if this is the wrong place to post this.

One problem is it takes longer than i would expect to load songs; it takes two or three times longer to load songs than it does for my opponent. You would think it's my internet/ computer, but would every opponent have faster internet/computer than me? i doubt it, and my computer/internet aren't slow. Also, i use standalone.

Other problem is that sometimes, randomly, I get cut out of multiplayer mid-way through a game. How can i fix that?
