Default [Pad] Psychoriginals II

Download Now!

Finally, after a year, it's out. Lazy blahblahblah. My songlist changed so much. I don't think I even included any of the original artists. Oh well. Here's 16 charts out of the originally planned 20. There are quite a few previously released charts, but they have all been touched up so it's really worth it to replay them. Let's check it out.

III - Lv.4 - J-Core - Expert 14
This is one tough song. It has some relatively simple patterns with some
pretty long 16th runs. This is mostly stamina draining, although it does
have a kinda technical part near the end. This was the song I received to
step for the Secret Stepfile Santa 4 event, and I think I did a decent job with it.

Aoi Haru - Angela - J-Pop - Expert 10
This is an interesting J-pop song from the Seitokai Yakuindomo ED. Just
like typical J-pop, it's somewhat fast (about 180 bpm) and has 2 medium-
length 16th runs to accent the vocalist having an epileptic seizure. Other
than that it's rather simple with crossovers here and there.

Beadumaegen - Wisp - Scottish DnB - Expert 12
An awesome Wisp song. It has some sick nasty drum and bass sections
with bagpipes. This one's pretty tiresome with quite a few jumps. Don't
make fun of my cut.

Daddy Mulk - Zuntata - VG Jazz - Expert 10
No, not that shitty S.S.H. metal remix. This is a sweet jazzy-ish track from
an old-school game called "The Ninja Warriors". It really easy until the
last 30 seconds or so. I put in a bunch of rolls and mines when necessary,
baked for half an hour at 420 degrees and let it cool into this delicious
simfile pie. It was originally submitted into VGMPP2 v2 but not anymore.

existens - Nekomata Master - Exotic J-Pop - Expert 10
joe#2 inspired me to step some Nekomata with his Spiral 2005 chart, so I
did. This song is from the same album as Spiral, Backdrops. It has a very
tropical feel to it and offers some interesting stuff. This chart has 64th
swings, 24th bursts, crossovers, etc. A beautiful bazaar of badinage.

Frozen in Black and Silver - Dimrain47 - SiCk TeChNo - Expert 11
I'm going MaInStReAm. This is the only non-r23-friendly song.

Huh (Hit Your Heart) - 4minute - K-Pop - Expert 9
The easiest song in the pack, the only 9. A catchy K-Pop song I heard
when I was reading some news about the North Korean-South Korean
conflict. Weird huh? Very simple with some hands spread out.

Ex.Human Operation - Iron Attack! - TOUHOU MTL - Expert 13
I received this song for SSS3. Yup, two years worth of SSS files. I fixed
up the part with the holds so it's much easier to read. A pretty tiring chart,
but not too difficult. Doesn't have many long runs. Everything is accented
by something. EVERYTHING.

Infinity - Guru Josh Project - Electro-House - Expert 10
I spent 6 hours stepping this; that's the most time I ever spent on a single
chart. Most of it was spent on the skeleton to make a real cool gimmick,
where although the steps look like the 16th notes, they're meant to be hit
as 64th swings. This was a pretty popular track so you might have heard
this already. It's pretty repetitive, but I think I did a decent job with
variety. Fun fact:
I have no idea where the cut is.

Magical 8bit Tour - YMCK - Chiptune - Expert 13
Being YMCK, this song is happy as groove. This song has fast runs.
There's an abundance of 24th runs and a few 32nd bursts as well. This
song is pretty tiresome without many breaks. My favourite part is actually
a neat negative BPM gimmick at the beginning of the song.

Naradno - Kitsune^2 - Celtic Furry Anthem - Expert 10
This is the most technical chart in my pack. There are plenty of crossovers
to keep your feet busy. There's also a slowdown. This song is half 8th
notes/16th notes and half 12th notes. Not much more to say other than
TWISTY LEGS.

Procrastination on a Paper - KgZ - Piano Jazz - Expert 12
This is personally my favourite chart from this pack. It's a really cool
jazzy piano song. It's mostly 16th runs with a few long streams. I think
the rhetoric in this is superb. It has a few mines here and there. Oh, and
this will tire you out. I know it.

Sajtban - Venetian Snares - Breakcore - Expert 14
ZIMCORE WAT IT DO. Probably the hardest song in the pack. This chart is
relentless, not offering a single break in this technical mish-mash of
marvellous magnificence of mighty magnitude (okay I'm really pushing it).
I guess I could kinda call it Gentlemen's older rebellious brother-in-law.
Oh Tell jumps and gimmicks everywhere (Hyperbole).

Someone (Furious F Radio Edit) - DHT Ft. Edmee - Heartful Techno - Expert 10
This one is really borderline 10-11. That's all I have to say about this.

Titan -The Superjail Mix- - Nosrac - Hardcore DnB - Expert 12
A very technical 12 full of Tell jumps. This is the only chart in my pack
that I do NOT recommend anyone to sightread on pad, unless it's some
kind of cruel joke (sorry Frank). It's definitely going to take a few
play-thrus to get it down. Xynn and ChaosUnknown loved this chart. Do
what you will with that piece of information.

With You Friend - Skrillex - Trendy Techno - Expert 11
I'm TrEnDy. Don't make fun of my cut.

Well, there you have it. All except that shitty Dimrain(on your parade)47
song are r23 compatible. Some are actually dangerously close to the limit.
All graphics by me. My personal top 3:

Procrastination on a Paper
Sajtban
