Can you put mines in the middle of freeze arrows?

Due to a glitch in whatever version of OpenITG I use, whenever I use "Compress 2x", freeze arrows don't shrink in size.

Because of this, mines that used to come after the freeze arrows now occur DURING them.
(If you try playing a chart like this, you will hit the mine by holding the freeze, but risk losing the freeze if you avoid the mine. You need good timing to jump off, dodge the mine, then get back on before you lose the freeze)

I'd like to use this gimmick in a chart I'm making, however have difficulty saving it to the file.
Anytime I hit "Save", close the chart, and reopen, the freeze arrows have disappeared.

Does anyone know of a way to get this to work in a chart?
