If this is your take on it all, you obviously don't understand the underlying concepts. Don't call me a retard for your obvious lack of understanding. I'm not saying that you need to take Strauss' advice word for word. But he raises many, many good points that people could learn from and use to better their interactions.
Personally, I would agree that scripted scenarios are a bad idea. I think giving "example" scenarios showing how to work out the concepts would be more effective -- social interaction isn't a script. You need to be able to flow and adapt, and I think you need to take the pieces of advice that fit this best.
