Default My Surrealist/expressionist work

WELL I went through a phase way back when I had a good handle on dissociating to the point in where I couldn't see much of anything around me, just had music playing that was synesthetically visual, and used my hands as sort of a fishing line for the biting creatures of my subconscious reaching up from under the page.

When in that state of trance I generally began to see things in a deconstructive manner-- abstract things; emotions, small creatures, parts of the body, etc. So what most of the items in these drawings consist of is an abstraction of a certain quality. I'll give a brief phrase with the rundown for each, if I remember them (some of these are two years old and I don't really recall what I was going for). I was also really bipolar back then so deal w/ it antineuroticnerds

These are in the order in which I drew them, so the cruddy ones are first.

Depression, fleeting anxiety
I don't know
Progression of the feeling of "love" from left to right

Anxiety
Determination, patience at the worst of times
Men (stereotyped)
Anxiety associated with an unknown presence
Human
Astral Projection
Acquaintances
Cricket, arm bone, half of human figure (from left to right, duh)
Fear and anxiety
Unknown instances at the subatomic level
First humans
Confusion with lust and love
Overwhelming anxiety and depression
Butterfly and rose with partial auras
Astral Projection 2
A deconstruction of the mind in a worried/anxious state
Half human half crow
Overwhelming dissociation
Mirages in the reflection of water in middle of ocean when alone
Walking to your sanctuary from your troubles
(picture is sideways, sorry) Bliss after the worst
(again sideways) Baby in the womb
Gecko is curious and sees the world unlike we do
Stress

I do NOT expect you to look through all of these. Highlights would be "Walking to your sancturary" and "Deconstruction of the mind", but maybe that's just because I like those the most.

I'm not in any way saying these are excellent in quality. I cherish them for the fact that they have personal meaning and are pretty damn interesting, seeing as I was barely paying attention when making them.

Umm, yeah.
